European Region Expansion: Live in Amsterdam

Featured Image for European Region Expansion Live in Amsterdam.

Our new region in Amsterdam is open for customer deployments and ready to support the Netherlands as the second-largest internet exchange in the world. Amsterdam joins our recently launched Stockholm region to power customers in northwest Europe with a new level of cloud connectivity. With the growing number of regions available, there are more options to support local failover between Amsterdam, Stockholm, Frankfurt, and London.

We committed to investing heavily in expanding our network and will continue to bring our solutions closer to more of our users. We are building our new regions  based on demand and typically located in the same or comparable regions to hyperscalers. Our goal is to bring more choice to these markets and offer accessible, price-performant options closer to home.

The cloud computing roadmap will continue the focus on accessibility and capacity for cloud resources in 2024.

Getting Started

Amsterdam (nl-ams) is ready for high performance, production workloads with services including Object Storage, Premium CPU, and Linode Kubernetes Engine. You can deploy resources directly in the Cloud Manager or using our API documentation.
