We’re happy to announce the availability of the following distributions for deployment in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors:
- CentOS 6.2 (release notes)
- Fedora 16 (release notes)
- openSUSE 12.1 (release notes)
In addition to providing these new distributions for deployment, we’ve updated our 32-bit and 64-bit Gentoo images to provide more up-to-date packages at the time of provisioning.
If you would like to deploy one of these distributions, you can follow our documentation in the Linode Library for deploying a Linux distribution.

Great!
I can’t wait till Ubuntu 12.04 is available as well.
Awesome! Can we also have Linux 3.3 kernels as well?
I’m glad to see Fedora 16, but isn’t it a little late? Fedora 15 was ready the day of or the day after it was released and now Fedora 17 is due out in 5 weeks.
